Yep, that’s me – Paul Williams – in 1992 when I was a Cast Member at the “Listen to the Land” boat ride at the Land Pavilion in Epcot Center at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
Here, I led Guests through a 20-minute boat ride… describing farming methods of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
I’ve posted this partly due to the fact that I can’t find a picture of this costume anywhere on the interweb. This was the one-piece, baby blue, polyester, farmer overalls of the future. Also note, this shot was taken during the winter months. In summer, we had a short sleeve shirt.
I’m certain forward-thinking farmers in Nebraska are tending their fields at this very moment dressed like this.
