Play Santa Clause or Father Christmas and randomly give something away to customers. There are at least two simple ways to do this:

  • Unroll and pre-mark register receipt with a distinctive mark – when that mark appears on the customer’s receipt they get something free.
  • Create a “Gift Timer” by setting a timer at each register to go off randomly during the day. When the timer goes off, the customer at the register receives a gift.
