This one sounds almost silly easy but often isn’t done…Write It Down. Put plans on paper so it is
(a) all together and
(b) sharable with those who will support you in getting it done!
Documenting your plans and your intended goals also allows you something to return to after your event to compare actual to planned performance.
Ensure you include a timeline of everything that needs to be done to hit your promotion launch date.
If you have multiple locations, it may be worth writing a Promotional Planner document that provides timelines, speaking points, and set-up instructions. This will ensure everyone clearly understand what to do.
